Project Description
Established in 1919, the Hudson River Museum (HRM) is a premier cultural destination in Westchester County, offering a vibrant collection of American art, a state-of-the-art planetarium, an expansive outdoor amphitheater, and a meticulously preserved Gilded Age historic home.
In 2017, I took on the newly created role of Design and Content Manager. Despite its picturesque setting overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades, as well as its convenient proximity to the Metro-North, the Museum faced formidable competition from other cultural institutions in the Hudson Valley and the New York metropolitan area. Nevertheless, the HRM distinguished itself by providing a unique fusion of art, science, and history experiences unmatched by any other institution in the region.
In 2018, we embarked on a transformative journey, partnering with CHIPS to unveil a new brand and website that celebrated the Museum's central location on the eastern bank of the Hudson River. This reimagined visual identity seamlessly integrated the diverse disciplines offered at the HRM across all platforms, effectively shedding the 'hidden gem' label that, while endearing, we had long outgrown.
Since the rebranding initiative, I've been leading the charge on all things design, adhering closely to CHIPS's style guides while also developing new templates. Below, you'll find a showcase of some of our recent branded projects.
